The Withering Evergreens

After the birth of her son, Silence Winthrop is slowly succumbing to her guilt. Jonah is not the son of her older merchant husband, but born of another man's seed. When the guilt finally manifests as an apparition within the Church, she must decide if she wishes to follow her heart or what is expected of her by the Puritain Church.
